This is the digital mockup for the piece described in my most recent journal entry. Published with it will be an artists journal covering the course of its creation (this will not be posted on DA, however). I have selected "Advanced Critique Encouraged" as this is the first of my serious endeavors. So please feel free to make any (sensible) comments you think might aid in making this piece better. Please note that it is to be "Minimalistic".
The chosen medium for the piece is spray paint on a 24" x 24" canvas. The three colors to be used are white, red and black. Chosen as these were the first three colors sold by Crayola as crayons. Inspiration from the term "back to basics" led me to the youthful relevance of the three colors. Though my first crayon set had 16 colors, historically the simplest form is three. Minimalism people.
I apologize if my point is not being well understood, but its 2am, so I have an excuse.
The imagery itself has no real relevance, the skulls design is far softer and cuter than those you would normally see, and so is embraced by my pseudo-intellectual side. Stencils will be needed to do this properly, many thanks go to my friend Jess for suggesting pizza box cardboard for stencil making, it works very well.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
